Murmurs of a Mad Woman answers the question, what do you do when an emotional bomb detonates through your life? Beginning with the moment of impact, Murmurs uses raw emotional imagery and engaging vulnerability to capture the experience of surviving the storms of life and the beauty found within the journey back to sanity.
"No real murmuring, but a strong, clear, and honest voice that has the clarity and courage to relate painful moments in a young woman's life. Yes, lots of crying, but lots more strength is exhibited through the prose and poetry in this extra accessible collection of very personal recollections of the difficult moments that we all face. We should all aspire to meet life's challenges as bravely as the author does. A nice pick me up for anyone who thinks that can't bear to put one foot in front of the other. Inspiring." by Wschonhardt, Amazon.com"
Thea Monyee' captures such a raw set of emotions in her words. This book is not like reading the story of a stranger. Reading Murmurs of a Madwoman is like reading the journal that I never took the time to write. There are so many points in that made me wonder just how she knew me so well.It is a long overdue therapy session that takes you back through the pain only to show you that it does get better. She makes you take a long look in the mirror and know that not only will you get through the storm but you can learn to appreciate the scars. From poetry to short stories to thought provoking one-liners, this book is filled to the brim with pain and healing. It is a page turner that will be read over and over and still never lose the power of the words. And don't be fooled; this isn't only for poets and poetry lovers. Murmurs is for anybody who has ever been through something in life that made you wonder how you would ever make it back to sanity." by LyricKantrain, Amazon.com
"I have read this book and have seen it from a different light. From the males perspective I have been opened up to the hurt and broken hearted views of the females as well as how to cope with hurt and how to rebuild a foundation to build yourself back up on. When I say it spoke the unspoken and explained the unexplainable, it is a understatement. The way words were placed together was unimaginable. There is a poem titled, "Autopsy", which left me completely speechless. I honestly had to read the poem 16 times to get as deep as the words allowed. The way things were written in the book makes you understand a lot more about many things. From reading this I know exactly that I Do Not want to hurt a women and I have learned also how to better treat them. You have shown me the definition of a Strong Women, and I cant say anything else except, AMAZING. Great Great Book."-Willie B., Amazon.com
